In a cup dominated weekend of fixtures, only one of the three teams in action managed to progress. Here is a look at the action.

WTA U16s 2 – 4 Bourne Town Juniors

Wisbech Town under-16s were made to rue missed chances following being knocked out of the cup.

It was the Acorns who started the brighter of the two teams however, and were gifted a goal by the opposition, who scored in their own net within the first five minutes.

After a dominant 20 minutes for the home side, Bourne grew in confidence to score two goals to help themselves to a 2-1 half-time lead.

Following the interval, the away side exploited some poor defending by the Acorns with two second-half goals, who only scored one in reply.

Deeping Rangers 5 – 0 WTA U15s

The Acorns were powerless to stop the superior Deeping Rangers outfit march on in the cup.

Deeping, who currently sit second in division one, secured a 3-0 lead going into half-time with good passing and movement.

The home side had to wait until late into the second half to score their final two goals.

The Acorns will take positives from the performance of the side, despite the loss, with a commanding performance from man of the match Alex.

Eye United 0 - 8 WTA U14s Yellow

Billee netted four goals for the Yellows' while Joe grabbed himself three to secure their place in the next round of the cup.

The Yellows' put in a dominant display to thrash the hosts and later dedicated the win to team-mate 'Reedy', who was helped off the pitch by paramedics in the first half with a dislocated elbow.

The injury was caused from an awkward fall in a one-on-one with the opposition's keeper to earn a penalty, but Dylan's effort was saved. The home keeper was powerless to stop Tom, who was sharp to follow in, smash the rebound home.

Dylan played well to earn himself two assists to help Billee and Joe score their first goals of the game.

Joe took his tally to two in the game just before half-time after he rebounded a shot from Dom which was saved by the Eye keeper.

The Yellows' kept their concentration and shape well throughout the match and their hard work never allowed the home side to get back into the match.

Billee scored a second-half hat-trick and Joe scored his third for the match to complete the scoring.
