Welcome to Wisbech Town Acorns Online!

Wisbech Town Acorns Football Club (WTA) was formed in 1993 by Alan Knight (who sadly passed away in 2004) Funding was secured from the Crime Prevention Trust with the idea that it would give local children something to become involved in, so they could play football in a safe and friendly environment. Originally the club started training and playing their matches at Wisbech Town Park until 2002, then it relocated to its present home at Barton Road Playing Field.

WTA takes players from the age of 6 years old through to 16 and has a good number of players from beginners right through to a few that have been selected, due to their exceptional ability, to train with UEFA 'B' Coaches at academy level. WTA was awarded the FA Charter Standard in August 2004 in recognition of meeting all the relevant criteria as set out by the Football Association.
The club also has numerous FA qualified 'Level 1' coaches with one qualified 'Level 2' coach and with a strict protection policy in place you can ensure your child's welfare is more important to us than just a 'win at all costs' approach. If your looking for a team, contact the Manager of the relevant Age Group for further information regarding available spaces. As Part of the Wisbech Town Acorns experience, Players, Parents, Managers, Coaches, Referees and Committee Members have access to the Clubs Multifunction Forum Featuring Match Reports, Team Chat, Team Information,  Photo's, Competitions, Integrated Games Arcade and Live Chat Box! The Players , Managers and Coaches also have access to Training material to help further develop themselves and the game we all love! To get started click the Forum Button and get yourself registered, This is only open to the above mentioned and all registrations are sent to the site administrator for activation, please ensure you supply all of the necessary information or your registration may be delayed.
